Seelands locals take road repairs into own hands

THE locals at Seelands have taken council road repairs into their own hands.

A giant pothole, believed to have been causing havoc for motorists who frequent Seelands Hall Rd, was filled in with some potting mix and a pretty orange plant.

While the hole in the road lends itself to a rather nice size pot, it is unclear whether the intentions of the locals was to put emphasis on it being a 'death sentence' or simply to make use of a decent hole.

Just how long the plant will survive spurting out of the side of the 100km/h road, probably not all that long, but it certainly looks pretty.
