Selena Gomez poses topless, looks like "sexualised child"

SELENA Gomez has posed topless in a recent photoshoot with V Magazine and critics and fans have criticised her for looking like "sexualised child".

In the photoshoot, the 22-year-old has been styled with baby-doll curls and red and white poka-dot bows.

One tweeter even remarked, "she looks like a child prostitute" while another called her a "sexualised child".

"Selena Gomez on the cover of V Magazine looks like one of these child pageant queens, making me feel extremely uncomfortable," said @mary-in-fashion.

During the interview with V Magazine, the former Disney star talks about her ex-boyfriend Justin Bieber and says she won't be diving into a relationship too soon.

"When you're young and you're being told so many different things...it almost felt like all we had was each other, like the world was against us, in a way. It was really weird but it was incredible. I would never take it back in a million years. You live and you learn, you know?"

Gomez, who sought treatment in rehab in January 2014, admits fame caused her "a lot of anxiety" at the time.

"There were a few months where I was a little depressed, where I wouldn't leave [my house] as much.

"I think I drove myself crazy for a little bit. My response was to stay in, which sucked. That's what I was trying to fix this past year, I'm finally getting a little bit more comfortable. It's a process."
