Seven firearms among stolen items in rural break and enters

TWO break, enter and steals on semi-rural properties in the Clarence yesterday are being investigated by police.

At some point between 8am and 4pm yesterday, a property on Coaldale Rd at The Pinnacles was broken into and jewellery, electronic items and seven firearms were stolen.

A property on Lawrence Rd, Southgate, was trageted between 9am and 3pm. Cash, jewellery, alcohol, electronic items and clothing was stolen.

No residents were at home during either break and enter.

Both matters were reported to police and investigators form the Coffs/Clarence Command are now conducting inquiries into each case.

Police are examining the possibility that the break and enters were committed by the same person/s and have urged anyone with information in relation to this incident to call Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000 or use the Crime Stoppers online reporting page.
