Socking it to cancer

GRAFTON Ghosts have doubled their support of a local charity, with their junior players wearing pink socks today.

For the past few years the senior teams have run an annual fundraiser for the Clarence Valley Breast Cancer Support Group, including a successful day on June 15 earlier this season.

Now the juniors are jumping on board for the first time to increase community awareness.

In a feast of football, a total of 17 junior matches will be played at McGuren Field today.
