South Grafton crime spike

POLICE are urging South Grafton residents to be vigilant after a spike in break and enter and trespass offences.

Grafton Police Inspector Tony Milner said five break and enters and a further six stealing from dwellings had been reported in the region in the past week.

There has also been an increase in malicious damage offences.

Inspector Milner said police would be targeting hotspots in coming weeks and asked people to by vigilant about security and makes sure their doors and garages are closed.
