South Grafton home invasion

A SOUTH Grafton man, 36, was refused bail when he appeared in a bail court hearing in Grafton on Saturday morning charged with aggravated break and enter, assault and malicious wounding.

It is alleged that about 11.20pm on Friday the man went to a residence in Tyson Street, South Grafton, and pushed past a man at the door.

Once inside it is alleged the man got into an argument and armed himself with a kitchen knife and later slashed a set of car tyres.

No-one was injured in the incident.
