HOW FAR can South Grafton High School go?

South High is deep into the University and Buckley Shield knockouts, and has a chance to progress even further tomorrow.

Both under-14 and opens teams are into the top 16 of the New South Wales Combined High Schools competition.

The opens team will kickoff the McKittrick Park clashes with a game against Farrer Agricultural High from 11am, with the under-14s set to play Armidale from 12.30pm.

South High sports co-ordinator Matt McKee said both sides should expect high quality games.

"Farrer are always like that," McKee said.

"They are very structure, are well-trained and well-drilled and we expect no different.

"The under-14s are a bit more of an unknown. You don't know what to expect and we're carrying a few injuries.

"I've got no idea what to expect from Armidale."
