Speak up on park development

MACLEAN residents who want to have a say in the development of the river bank in the town should attend an open day tomorrow to have their views heard.

Clarence Valley Council will stage the McLachlan Park Community Open in the Palace Arcade to build on ideas outlined in the Maclean Riverside Master Plan.

The council would like the whole community to get involved and have its say on the future direction and design of McLachlan Park.

Lead designer from King and Campbell David Tooby will host the event, in conjunction with council staff.

The information gathered on the day will be developed into a detailed design that will go out for broader consultation.

The McLachlan Park Community Open Day will be held from 9am to 5pm tomorrow in the Palace Arcade, River Street; the shop near the pedestrian crossing.
