Special guest for Grafton gallery

Arts Northern Rivers is excited to invite members of the community to come together for an information and networking evening, to be held Wednesday March 30 at Grafton Regional Gallery, with special guest Marie Louise Carroll, Director, Australia Business Arts Foundation.

The event is presented free of charge and is open to artists, arts organisations, businesses, community groups, local government officials and officers, and anyone else with an interest in developing and supporting a vibrant and thriving arts community.

Arts Northern Rivers' CEO, Tony Duke, said he believe this was a wonderful opportunity to hear from the lead national agency about ways for arts and business to work together effectively, and to explore alternate arts funding sources outside the traditional grants model.

"We are thrilled that Mary Louise has agreed to travel to the region to provide information on AbaF's programs and services relevant to this crucial aspect of the region's future growth," Mr Duke said.

The  Arts and Business, Working Together - Building our Futureinformation and networking evening will take place from 6pm to 8pm Wednesday March 30 at Grafton Regional Gallery, 158 Fitzroy Street,Grafton.
