Star model relaxes in Bundaberg

INTERNATIONAL model Jerusha Tuart's visit to Bundaberg to see her family has turned into a mad dash to get in shape for the Gold Coast 600 V8 Supermodel Search.

Ms Tuart, who lives and works as a model in Miami, had planned a quiet holiday catching up with her mum, who works at Bundaberg High School, and younger brother when she was contacted and asked to be a part of the model search.

"In the past couple of weeks I've been having my butt kicked into shape by a personal trainer at Improvements," she said.

Ms Tuart said she tried to get to the rum city and her family as often as possible.

"I always find it relaxing," she said.

The 27-year-old model has previously won the Australian Swimsuit Calendar Model of the Year title in 2009 and was first runner-up in the Australian Lingerie Model of the Year in 2010.
