Stardust Circus roars into town

THEY have well and truly set up shop at the Grafton Showground, but the Stardust Circus won't be in town forever.

The circus features a huge range of animals, including lions, monkeys and ponies, clowns, comedy acts, trapeze artists and other acts that have to be seen to be believed.

Adam has been the ringmaster of Stardust Circus for nearly 10 years, but he said all his previous jobs had contributed greatly to his unique trade.

“I have done a lot of television and radio voiceover work as well as previously hosting shows at Sea World,” he said.

“Working in a circus is a great job – going to certain towns and meeting the people is a lot of fun.

“Travelling around the country year in, year out can be quite taxing, but as they say, the show must go on.”

Stardust Circus is the only circus in Australia that allows people to take photographs with the animals. More details in Things To Do on pages 12 and 13.
