THE horror week continued for Wests Tigers with a 28-6 defeat to the surging Melbourne Storm at Campbelltown Stadium last night.

Storm halfback Cooper Cronk single-handedly pulled the home side apart, setting up four of his side's five tries and helped keep Melbourne's top four hopes alive.

Former Tigers winger Marika Koroibete celebrated his return with a brace.

The loss has hampered Wests' finals chances, leaving the Tigers two points adrift of the top eight in 12th spot and has damaged their for-and-against.

Melbourne Storm 28 (Koroibete 2, Chambers, Waqa, Smith tries; Smith 4 goals) defeated Wests Tigers 6 (Akauola try; Richards goal) at Campbelltown Stadium. Crowd: 7,782.
