Suburbs flush with dirty water

WATER users between Harwood and Iluka have been advised they may experience fluctuations in water pressure and periods of dirty water in the next week or two.

The Clarence Valley Council's water cycle unit is planning to perform water mains flushing in areas on Harwood, Chatsworth and Goodwood islands plus Woombah and Iluka.

The council's works and civil director, Troy Anderson, said the flushing was expected to take about a week, but the timeframe was dependant on other emergency work that may arise.
