Surviving kids united with dads

THE three child survivors of Sunday’s crash on Wooli Road, which claimed the lives of their two mothers, have been re-united with their Queensland-based fathers.

The three girls, believed to be aged between 10 and 15, were informed of their tragic loss late on Sunday once their mothers, who died at the scene, could be formally identified.

Police are still investigating the cause of the single vehicle crash.

It is understood the family had been holidaying at Wooli and was on its way back to the village from a Grafton church service when the accident happened.
