Swell time had by all at surf session

IT WAS excitement all round as Tucabia Public School's young "grommets" hit the waves at Minnie Water for a Learn to Surf session.

Every child managed to stand up on a surfboard and their monster grins could be seen all the way up the beach.

Many of our more capable students were seen exchanging high fives whilst catching waves together. There is nothing better than going surfing with your mates.

All the students were keen to learn and a few natural talents were discovered during the day.

The students' behaviour in the water was exceptional. Well done guys.

Solitary Islands Surf School, accredited with Surfing Australia, delivered this outstanding surf program.

Their professional team showed wonderful encouragement towards our students.

Thank you everyone for a fantastic day. We will return again on March 15. Hope we have another solid swell.
