Teen hospitalised after snake bite

A TEENAGE girl thought to have been bitten by a snake at a Mount Pleasant property this morning has been taken to hospital.

A Queensland Ambulance Service spokeswoman confirmed paramedics treated the girl for a suspected snakebite at a location off Baxter Drive at 8.53am.

The girl was in a stable condition when she was taken by ambulance to Mackay Base Hospital.
