Youth Week rave party attracts 700

TEENAGERS across the Clarence Valley joined Youth Week celebrations, making the ‘Twenty-ten, it Only Happens Once’ themed-dance rave a night to remember.

More than 700 turned out to Yamba Sports Centre to dance the night away or relax in the chill-out room specifically designed for the youth.

Pitbull’s – ‘You Know You Want Me’ – proved to be the hit song of the night with the Gold Coast based DJ playing all the hot mixes of 2010 for the easily pleased crowd. Police had no reports of any incidents and organisers described the event as a big success.
