Tell us your road gripes

POTHOLES, bumps, soggy bitumen or no bitumen - some of our region's roads are in a sad state of repair.

Sometimes it feels like nothing's getting done to fix up roads and this latest bout of wet weather will have created further problems.

The Daily Examiner is trying to make a public record of all the second grade roads you have to travel.

We are inviting readers to help us mark the region's worst roads onto our interactive map.

You can drop a pin in the map at the site of your damaged road and write comments on the issues there.

We will forward a list to the relevant authorities responsible for each road, be it council or State Government, and try to establish a timetable for its repair.

Users and authorities will also be able to update as a road is fixed.

How to use our Clarence Valley's worst roads map

  • Click "View Clarence Valley's worst roads in a larger map" under the map (right)
  • In the Google search bar type the name of the road you want to identify and click to search
  • Drop the pin in the spot

(Tip: you can zoom in and out on the map by using the plus and minus symbols to the left of the map)

Alternatively email your road gripe to us here at the Daily Examiner and we'll update the map for you.
