Cat in the Hat takes centre stage

SEUSSICAL the musical brings together 120 talented musicians, cast and crew to deliver a lavish story woven from more than 15 Dr Seuss books.

Presented by the Clarence Coast Theatrical Society and directed by Troy Castle, the theatrical show is suitable for all ages and is playing this week in Maclean and Yamba.

Clever storytelling brings together Dr Seuss characters like Horton the Elephant, Gertrude Fuzz, Thing 1 and Thing 2, General Genghis Kahn Schmitz, the Grinch, JoJo and, of course, The Cat in the Hat.

Performers as young as four, and much older, bring their characters to life with confidence and style.

The full chorus numbers are big and bold, and great fun.

The mini-orchestra playing front of stage brings depth to the storytelling.

When you add imaginative costumes, props, make-up and great lighting, the show is big, bright and of fun.

It's hard to imagine it was created over just 12 weeks of rehearsals.
