They can dance

WE always knew we could dance, and now two young dancers are proving it.

Two top-16 finalists on TV show So You Think You Can Dance? hail almost directly from the Clarence Valley.

While Amy Campbell and Charlie Bartley may not actually live here, their parents grew up in the Valley so that's good enough for us to vote for them.

The talented duo are doing phenomenally well by getting into the final 16 last week, after thousands of dancers from around the country were given the flick in earlier shows.

Gosford-born Amy, 25, has danced for 22 years and is trained in jazz, ballet and contemporary.

Her parents Brian and Pauline Campbell lived in Grafton for many years and Amy still has relatives in the area.

Charlie used to live in Dubbo with his parents Peter and Kim, before moving to Sydney to further his dancing career.

Peter and Kim Bartley lived in Maclean for many years.

19-year-old Charlie has been dancing since the age of two and is a talented hip-hop dancer.

The next So You Think You Can Dance screens on Sunday at 7.30pm, so tune in and vote to keep these dancers in competition.
