Today is the official day for the Biggest Morning Tea

TODAY marks the official day of Australia's Biggest Morning Tea. Thousands of generous hosts across the northern NSW region will get together and help Cancer Council raise vital funds for cancer research, prevention and support services.

1 in 2 Australia's will be diagnosed with cancer by the age of 85. It's easy to make your cuppa count and show your support for a cause that unfortunately touches us all in some way. Simply register to host, get together with your friends, family or workmates, put the kettle on and enjoy some delicious food.

Anyone can host a morning tea, registrations are still open and anyone who raises over $500 automatically goes into the draw to win a $600 kitchen aid pro cake mixer, and selection of cookbooks from celebrity chefs.

Every morning tea matters, so whether it's a coffee catch-up with the girls, an office morning tea or a school bake sale. All funds raised will go directly back into local communities.

Cancer Council NSW celebrates its 60th Birthday this month and will be celebrating their achievements over the past 60 years with morning tea events across the across the northern NSW region.
