NOT only can Yeppoon's Toni Herron say her wedding was the first to be "bat-themed" at the Capricorn Caves, her even bigger claim to fame is that it will be broadcast on national television tonight.
The second season of Channel Seven's TV show Four Weddings Australia will feature Toni and her husband Mark's ceremony and reception, held at the Capricorn Caves on Easter Saturday this year.
It was a decision Toni said she was happy she made.
"I loved the show and I've always watched it so when I was asked to be on it, I said of course," the mother of two said yesterday.
"It was really fun and a great experience, but it was so exhausting."
Filmed earlier this year, the show is a competition between four brides to score the honeymoon of a lifetime by judging each others wedding on a whole.
Toni, 25, said her wedding planning didn't intend on being bat-oriented but it somehow got out of hand.
"It started with little bats on the tables name cards, and then they just ended up everywhere," she said.
"It was a bit of a shock for the other brides because they didn't like bats and got a bit claustrophobic from the cave.
"I'd really like to thank Jan and Amanda from the Caves who went above and beyond in helping with everything."
Toni said we'd have to watch to find out if she scores the dream honeymoon to Fiji.
The show airs at 7.30 tonight.
