It is believed the crash happened at about 4pm. There were no reports of injury.

UPDATE, 4.30PM: Traffic has started moving again following an accident on the Pacific Highway this afternoon.

Halfway Creek resident Mary Kleynjan told The Daily Examiner traffic was at a complete standstill in both directions following a three-vehicle crash south of the Parker Road intersection.

"The trucks are starting to move for the first time," Mrs Kleynjan said. "It must be bad because it's pretty banked up. There were a fair few sirens so that's why i was concerned.

"According to Live Traffic it was a three car pile up. It's south of Parker Road, towards Kungala Road.   "Traffic was affected in both directions. It was absolutely standing still for a while."
