FIRE and Rescue services are working to contain a fifty-foot trawler which has reportedly sunk in Yamba Harbour.

Mr Drayton said only the wheelhouse of the trawler was showing.

Fire and Rescue received notification of the incident at 10am this morning.

It is believed the Sydney Port Authority are on scene laying booms, to stop any leaks that might eventuate.
