Trawler skipper injured at Yamba

A MAN has been treated for minor injuries after two fishing trawlers collided at Yamba.

Trader Horn, an iconic Clarence Valley trawler, was moored at the Yamba boat harbour while undergoing repairs when it was struck by an incoming trawler at about 10.30am on Saturday.

The collision caused minor damage and the skipper of the incoming trawler sustained minor injuries.

The man was treated at the scene by paramedics but did not require any further medical treatment.

Yamba police and Marine Rescue responded to the incident and police said Maritime Services would continue to investigate the crash.
