Truck crash closes Gwydir Highway

A TRUCK crash at Jackadgery has caused major disruptions for motorists travelling on the Gwydir Highway.

The crash which occurred in the early hours of this morning resulted in the highway being temporarily closed between Grafton and Glen Innes.

Diversions were put in place and motorists advised to allow as much as 75 minutes additional travel time.

Emergency services, local council and a tow truck attended the scene and the highway is now reopened.
