EMERGENCY services have been called to a truck crash at Coutts Bridge this afternoon.

The vehicle was travelling from Coutts Crossing to Grafton when the truck mounted the guard rail, demolishing about 40 metres of it, before flipping on its side.

The driver is uninjured but the truck, which was carrying five tonnes of Party Ice, is blocking both lanes of the road.

Firefighters are trying to cover diesel that spilled from the truck.
