Tyrell Cobb: Mum's fatal blows killed four-year-old

A JUDGE has found Tyrell Cobb's mother was responsible for the blow or blows that caused his death in 2009.

Heidi Strbak pleaded guilty to manslaughter over her four-year-old son's death on the Gold Coast in May 2009, but contested the allegation she was behind a fatal blow to his stomach at a Supreme Court hearing.

Justice Peter Applegarth found today that there was a "compelling circumstantial case" that she did cause the injuries.

More to come.
