Ulmarra Ferry out of action to replace cable

THE Ulmarra Ferry will be out of action for three hours on Wednesday to allow mechanics to replace its cable.

NSW Roads and Maritime Services advises this is additional downtime to the scheduled maintenance carried out on the first Wednesday of every month.

The ferry crossing will be unavailable from 9.30am to 12.30pm.

Motorists can use Grafton Bridge as an alternative and are advised to plan their journey, allow extra travel time and follow all traffic signs.
