Diana tops the Valley's gig guide list

DIANA Ah Naid's career has swept the breadth off the world since her 1999 single I Don't Think I'm Pregnant became a launch pad for her music.

Calling Nimbin home and taking a break from music just when US audiences began to take notice hasn't quelled her creative spirit with five albums and a bevy of festival dates keeping her busy over the past decade.

She's performed at the Falls Festival, Woodford, The Big Day Out, Bluesfest and special guest to Cake, The Eels and Joe Cocker as well as Aussies Pete Murray, The Whitlams, Ash Grunwald, Dallas Fransca and Xavier Rudd to name but a few.

Diana credits her childhood as a driver for her musical output.

She says she had decided to become a singer by age six, written her first song by nine and kept the dream going through stints in foster homes.

Diana will be performing her strong musical stylings at the Pacific Hotel in Yamba tonight.
