Venues offer party after Grafton Cup

IT'S Grafton Cup day and of course that also means the entertainment stakes will be upped tonight with a few venues putting on live music for punters who are keen to celebrate their wins (or drown their losses).

The Clocktower Hotel is leading the charge with Coffs musician Ben Francis, who will don his DJ hat tonight, while local singer/songwriter Ryan Martin will entertain the Maclean Cup crowd at the venue on Sunday evening.

Roches Hotel also has new outfit, The Ragged Fox Roadshow, in their Stables tonight. This original trio features Tullara Connors (Siskin River), Ben Jenkins (Clock and Dice) and Glen McClymont (The Ninth Chapter).

The Jacaranda Hotel will also get into the spirit with Hekyl and Jive on deck to put some rock into your carnival activities.
