THEY say grace is remaining calm in a critical moment and if that's the case then Maximo Trinidad surely goes down as one of the most graceful surfers in history.

Footage of Trinidad riding his Stand Up Paddle board at Corners Beach, in Jupiter, Florida, on April 4 went viral over the past week but it's got nothing to do with his surfing.

The American had just taken off on a wave when a shark lunged at his board.

"Holy s&^t," he says.

And while most people would probably go in at that point Trinidad turns around and paddles back out.

No doubt, considering this was apparently a lunch time session Trinidad had a great story for his colleagues when he got back to work.
