Vikings set to take on Ballina

THE hype has been building.

Now it’s time to see what the Grafton Vikings can do on the court when they meet Ballina in the Waratah State League on Sunday.

The Vikings finished in third place last season and take on their neighbours, hoping to gain valuable early-season form.

The match will be played at the Grafton Indoor Sports Centre tomorrow at 11am.

The Vikings should be on a high heading into the match with several talented youngsters recently gaining representative places.

Nicola Whitton and Kyam Shannon from Grafton High School have been chosen in the North Coast CHS teams.

These players will now participate at the NSW CHS State Basketball Championships, with Shannon to head to Bathurst and Whitton to Albury in May.

Reece Gaddes and Brayden Predo have also been selected in the PSSA North Coast team.
