HER diary is already jam-packed with casting dates and agent appointments and it's no surprise, since Brushgrove model Abbie Weir just signed a two-year contract with international agency IMG.

The modest 17-year-old will roll with the likes of Miranda Kerr and Kate Upton as she steps into her one-year contract with the Australian branch, and two years with Paris.

New York has also beckoned Abbie, but she's unclear of the terms of that contract just yet.

"IMG is huge around the world and being with Paris and New York means I get to work in those countries," she said.

This year has not been a cruisy year for the teen who completed her HSC last week amid filming for this season's Australia's Next Top Model where she came fourth.

She said she had her teachers to thank for helping her get through all necessary schoolwork while on set.

"I got work sent to the house and I did a lot of catch-up study - my teachers are amazing," Abbie said.

"It was hard to manage, but I'm glad (school) is over!"

With her sights set on the catwalk, this gorgeous Brushgrove girl has packed her bags and set off to start her new chapter in the heart of Sydney, to be closer to job castings and auditions.

"I've already got some castings lined up, so it's going to be full-on," she said.

"I've applied for university too, so I'd like to do that as well."

Abbie hopes to study business and events and leisure at the University of Sydney.
