WATCH: Maclean community makes video in fight to save trees

THE passionate people of Maclean have created a video as they continue to stand up for the camphor laurel trees set for the  chopping block at McLachlan Park.

"A race against time, a small community group in Northern NSW are trying to save four heritage trees from being chopped down by the local council. These trees were planted over 100 years ago and have survived floods and one major fire. They have simply stood the test of time, until now. The Clarence Valley Council wants to remove them to make way for a couple of car park spaces."
