Whale stops surfers

AFTER being amazed when she dropped her boys off at Yamba's Lovers Point to go surfing on Thursday to see whales so close to the headland, casual Daily Examiner Photographer Lynne Mowbray made it her mission to make up for the shot she missed.

Yesterday Lynne photographed whales frolicking close to the shore off Yamba and was excited about the photos she got.

She drove around to Angourie Point and captured this image as a whale migrated back to the Antarctic.
