Here's your take on the Twitter photo that went viral
ACCORDING to Twitter users, there is something wrong with this image.
But it's not an optical illusion and it is in no way related to a dress that's black and blue; or was it white and gold?
We put it out to The Daily Examiner's Facebook community to see if they thought there was something wrong with this photo.
Here's what you had to say:
David-John Francis: He's letting her walk on the side closest to the road. He should be there to protect her from cars that may mount the kerb or to stop her from getting splashed if the road is wet. That's just me though!
Kez Eggins: My hubby said there's nothing wrong with the picture as the woman is always right. boom! boom!
Kathryn SomethingDutch: Well I can cope walking near the road. How about we focus on a real gender issue, like the domestic violence rates in this country for instance? Or the pay and employment gap for women? Or the fact that the government just royally screwed us with parental leave making it even harder for women to afford to have both kids and careers?
Amy Lotsari: Haha yes I got it, being a true gentlemen he would walk on the outside of the path closest to the road to protect her!
Samantha Charlotte Kroehnert: What if they don't know each other is he supposed to push her over the other side ?!?! I'm all for men being gentlemen but really if this is what people get cranky about its time to get a hobby
Bella Trevillian: Sexist crap
Helen Ellis: If they are walking together, yes, him on kerb side. But I'm wondering if her belt is on back the front?
Steve Haynes: Shes on the outside. A Gentleman would always walk on the outside.
Bambette Kerr: There is always a place for etiquette.
So what are your thoughts?
Should the man always walk on the outside when with a woman?
It certainly stirred up some debate and opinions in The DEX office and online, so tell us what you think. Head to our Facebook page and have your say.
