Wheely good time at the Grafton Aero Club

GET READY to take off with Wings & Wheels this Sunday alongside Grafton Aero Club.

This year's event looks like it will be bigger and better than last year, with something on offer for every lover of things that fly through the sky or speed down the street.

With classic, touring and sports cars, vintage cars, classic and vintage motorcycles, stationary engines, hot rods, go-karts, classic caravans, tractors, race cars for motoring enthusiasts.

Not forgetting the aviation buff, with vintage and modern aircraft on show, and a Winjeel Warbird from ex-RAAF fighter trainer Mark Awad, who will be providing flights to the public.

Depending on the weather, lovers of things with wings can look forward to Tiger Moths on a fly-by visit from Boonah and Luskintyre.

The club will be raising money for the children's ward at Grafton Base Hospital with gold coin donations.

Everyone is welcome to get up close and personal with cars, bikes and planes and it's free of charge.

Food and drink are available on site.
