Grafton biggest loser on again

GRAFTON Midday Rotary Club is running its third Clarence Valley Biggest Loser Weight Loss Competition, which aims to promote weight control as a part of a healthy lifestyle of exercise and sensible eating.

“Grafton Midday Rotary is inviting, indeed encouraging, individuals and teams to join in the 2010 Clarence Valley Biggest Loser Weight Loss Competition by filling in an application form by Monday, March 8,” competition organiser Margaret McKenna said.

All contestants receive a starter kit and will be weighed in between 9am and 1pm on Saturday, March 13 at the Grafton Community Centre, 59 Duke Street.

There will be monthly weigh-ins during the competition and Clarence Valley Council’s Healthy and Active Program will support the event by providing all interested parties with free training sessions on Wednesdays at 5.30pm and Fridays at 6.30am at Fisher Park.

The final celebratory weigh-in will be on June 5.
