Winning home from The Block seized by federal police

A LUXURY Albert Park apartment designed by the twins on reality TV show The Block has been seized by federal police as possible proceeds of crime.

Lukas Kamay, the NAB banker charged over an alleged $7 million insider trader scam, has been revealed as the winning bidder for the warehouse apartment designed by twins Alisa and Lysandra.

A search warrant executed at Mr Kamay's workplace in Bourke St led to the seizure of a lease agreement for 3/47 O'Grady St, Albert Park - the renovated Block apartment.

Mr Kamay paid $2.375 million for the three bedroom unit, $616,000 above its reserve price of $1.759 million.

It is understood Mr Kamay put down a $500,000 deposit.
