Woman injured in Yamba collision

A YAMBA woman has sustained minor injuries after crashing a vehicle into a power pole.

The collision occured at about 7.45am yesterday on Yamba Rd at Yamba when the 58-year-old female driver, who was travelling east, lost control of the black Toyota Hilux she was driving.

It is believed he Hilux first crashed into a parked vehicle before making contact with the telegraph pole.

She was taken to Maclean Hospital by ambulance for treatment of minor injuries.

Police are continuing their investigation into the circumstances of the crash.
