Woman’s name from Eatonsville fatal crash not released yet

POLICE are yet to release the name of a 64-year-old Eatonsville woman killed in a car crash near her home on Wednesday.

Coffs Clarence crime manager Detective Inspector Darren Jameson said the inquiry into her death is focussing on a pre-existing medical condition.

The woman was the sole occupant of a van travelling north along Tindal Rd, between 4pm and 5pm, when the van left the road and hit a tree.

Insp Jameson said the woman was not far from her home when the crash occurred.

He said police would like to hear from anyone who has information about the accident.
