Woolies workers charitable

PALLIATIVE Care Volunteer Support Service, in conjunction with Community Nurses, received a donation of $550 this week thanks to the generosity of staff at Woolworths in Grafton.

The Woolworths staff chose to donate half their winnings from meeting in-store sales challenges to local palliative care services.

Support Services co-ordinator Libby Shearer said the money was much appreciated and would most likely be used to refurbish the laundry at the Dandelion Unit in Ulmarra.
