Workshop photo voted plunge Instagram winner

BEING creative at heart, Lisa Salter and daughter Lillian McPhee's Instagram account reflects their artistic endeavours - named "stitchtwotogether".

And a simple Instagram post from the recent Clarence Valley plunge festival has won them a Polaroid socialmatic instant camera worth nearly $500.

The photo of Lillian at Rochelle Summerfield's creative taster workshop received the most votes from The Daily Examiner website viewers, and gained them first prize.

It was one of many events they attended through the festival.

"This year we attended many of the events on the Plunge Calendar, including Big River Brewfest at Irons and Craig, the Maclean Highland Gathering, the Grafton Agricultural Show and the Clarence Valley Orchestra," Lisa said.

"We would like to thank Lou Gumb and the team that curate the Plunge festival every year, it is a wonderful community festival that is engaging for the whole family."
