Is this the world's most adorable missing cat poster?

MALE. Ginger. No Collar. White Strips. Tiny Paws. Speedy.

Children living in Redcliffe just south of the Sunshine Coast have come up with what's quite possibly the most adorable missing cat poster ever handed out.

The poster, mailed out to residents in the past few weeks, was done in black texta on white paper and has no image - but it stuck with local residents.

Neighbour Geni Williams said the adorable description and the illustration of the smiling cat helped her to identify it.

"Apparently the cat had been missing for three days," she said.

"It was an adorable poster and the way they did it made us look for the cat."
