Yamba Pro Am gets top start

THE two-day Yamba WHK Pro Am started yesterday with brilliant sunshine and a slight breeze.

The field of 55 professional golfers and 107 amateurs were split into two shotgun starts - the morning field at 7am and the afternoon field at 12.17pm.

Morning leaders were Aaron Pike on 69 and Paul Williamson 70 and for the amateurs Helen Atkinson from Yamba with 41 points.

The perfect conditions are expected to produce some excellent scores over the two days.
