Yeppoon’s Terry Delalande is Australia's Manhunt champion

TERRY Delalande hasn't been in the modelling world long, but that didn't make a difference when he took out Manhunt Australia.

The Yeppoon man beat Australia's best to take out the competition on the Gold Coast last month, which has seen him score a place in Manhunt International in China.

Terry, 22, only started modelling this year, and took out his first competition, Mr Zodiac, in Rockhampton in August.

"I'm stoked to win the competition and can't wait to compete in China," Terry said.

The personal trainer at Yeppoon Health and Fitness Centre said he'd probably give modelling another go in the future.

"The competition was a great goal for me to train for," he said.

While modelling is new to Terry, he's always been into being healthy.

"Health and fitness are massive to me, it's my life," he said.

Terry will head over to China for Manhunt International early next year to compete against male models from across the world.
