You can wrestle Nicholas Cage on a cage at Splendour

THIS year's arts program at Splendour in the Grass will allow you to wrestle Nicholas Cage on a cage.

Both the cage and Nicholas Cage will be inflatables, to avoid injuries to the Hollywood star and to Splendour punters.

Come July, the fields of North Byron Parklands will become a canvas bursting with so much more than live musical performances by Florence and the Machine or Blur.

Each year, the Splendour Arts program provides some of the most unexpected, unforgettable and social media-breaking festival moments from some of the world's most innovative and boundary-pushing contemporary artists.

In 2015, one of them will Nicolas Cage in a Cage, an Inflatable Sculpture by Hungry Castle.

Last year, the Barcelona-based art collective Hungry Castle brought us the internet-breaking Lionel Richie's Head and this year they present a giant inflatable sculpture of Nicolas Cage in a cage.

The meme-inspired cage was built to bounce.

This will be an artwork that reflects the internet and the internet's effect on culture.

Love him or hate him, you won't break Nicolas Cage.

Another popular art project at Splendour every year is the barn and its community.

Anabaptister, by Bennett Miller, is a live art installation project that will be housed at the barn.

The third iteration of an ongoing collaboration between Bennett Miller and Splendour in the Grass, Anabaptister will follow on from Barnraiser (2013) and (2014).

Last year's Barnraiser project featured a community of Amish people living within the festival precinct and engaging with the punters.
Last year's Barnraiser project featured a community of Amish people living within the festival precinct and engaging with the punters.

Expect once again to encounter a mysterious community of people living and working within the festival grounds, joined this year by a series of special guests giving one off performances in the barn.

On the final day of the festival, members of this unique community will be asked to decide between reaffirming their commitments in a special ceremony or leaving their community behind for good.
