Youth facing four charges

ANOTHER juvenile has been charged over riots in Yamba early on Sunday morning.

Coffs/Clarence crime commander Cameron Lindsay said yesterday a 17-year-old male handed himself into Grafton police about 3pm on Monday.

He said the juvenile, who cannot be named, would face four charges.

They were; incite to assault a police officer in the execution of their duty, riot, damage property by fire and malicious damage. The youth has been granted conditional bail.

Four adults appeared in a bail court hearing in Grafton on Sunday and again on Monday and were refused bail.

Coffs/Clarence police commander Mark Holahan said on Sunday there several other offenders had been identified by police. He encouraged them to come forward before they got a knock on the door.
