WOOLI residents reacted thoughtfully and responsibility to warnings of the storm which dumped 468mm on the Village, according to the SES.
"I DON'T know whether it was good planning or good luck, but tanks are full, streams are flowing and the river is now fresh."
WATER levels continue to rise in the Orara River from heavy rainfall over the weekend, with a peak at Coutts Crossing expected at midday today.
WOOLI received 468mm of rain as SES Clarence were kept busy with 309 calls for help as wild weather sweeps down coast.
